How to Setup Remote Database Access in cPanel  

Step 1: Log in to your cPanel account.

Step 2: Navigate to the Databases section and click on Remote Database Access.

Step 3: Under the Add Access Host section, input the targeted host name or IP address and click on Add Host.

Step 4: In the Manage Access Host section, you can view your hosts which were already created.

Note: Use the following details to connect to your database from the remote application:

Hostname: Your server’s hostname (e.g., yourdomain.com or the server’s IP address).
Database Name: The name of the database that you have created.
Username: The database user you created.
Password: The password for the database user.
Port: 3306.
