How to add your number to your Microsoft account to reset the password in the future?

Step 1: Open your browser and visit the URL: https://mysignins.microsoft.com/

Step 2: Sign in with your Microsoft account.

Step 3: Click on Security info on the left pane.

Step 4: Click on Add method and select Phone from the drop-down and then click Add.

Step 5: Enter the phone number and click Next and then enter the One-time password and click Next.

Step 6: Click Done.
