How to password-protect a folder available under your cPanel account

Step 1: Open a web browser and log into your server via http://yourdomainname:2083

Step 2: Open the File Manager.

Step 3: Navigate to the folder and right-click and then select Password Protect.

Step 4: Check the Password protect this directory checkbox and click Save.

Step 5: Now, enter the username and password and click Save.
