My WordPress website is showing maintenance page for a long time even when not in maintenance

Step 1: Log into your cPanel account.

Step 2: Open the File Manager from the cPanel menu.

Step 3: Navigate to the Document Root of your website.

Step 4: Click on the Settings button on the top-right corner and enable the option Show Hidden Files (dotfiles) and then click Save.

Step 5: Now, find the .maintenance file and rename it to some other name, for example: .maintenance_bak
