I don’t want my WordPress uploaded media to be stored based on date.

Step 1: Log into WordPress dashboard.

Step 2: Navigate to Settings > Media.

Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom and uncheck the “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders” checkbox.

Step 4: Click Save changes.
