How to Install Apache Tomcat on Windows server

Step 1: Download Tomcat for Windows

1. Browse to the below official Apache Tomcat website and download the latest Tomcat version available.

2. On the Download page, scroll down in the Binary Distributions area.

From the Core list, You can choose the installation type you prefer, click the download link for the 32bit/64bit Windows zip file or the Windows Service Installer.

Step 2: Install Tomcat

You can install the Tomcat in two methods.

You can Install Tomcat via the Windows Service Installer for an automated experience. The service installer helps to install the Tomcat service and runs automatically during the system boots.

Also you can install Tomcat using the zip file and you can easily uninstall Tomcat by deleting the Tomcat directory.
