How to enable HTTPs for your Windows server

Step -1: On the IIS Manager window, select your IIS server.

Step -2: On the Features view pane, select the option named: Server certificates.

Step -3: If you already have a certificate, click on the Import option in the Actions pane.

Step -4: Select the option named: Create a self-signed certificate, if you want to generate a self-signed certificate.

Step -5: Enter a name for the certificate and click on the OK button.

Step -6: Go to the Sites option and Right click the desired website and select the option named: EDIT BINDINGS.

Step -7: Click on the Add option.

Step -8: Enter the following configuration:

Type – HTTPS

IP Address – All unassigned

Port – 443

Hostname – Enter the Hostname 

SSL Certificate – Select the SSL certificate name

Step -9: Click on the OK button.
