Step 1: Open the Windows Firewall with Advanced Security snap-in from the console tree.
Step 2: In the Actions pane, select “Properties.”
Step 3: Choose the tab corresponding to the profile you want to configure logging for (Domain, Private, or Public).
Step 4: Click on “Customize.”
Step 5: Specify a name and location for the log file.
Step 6: Set the log file size limit within the range of 1 to 32767 Kbytes.
Step 7: Enable logging for dropped packets by selecting “Yes” for “Log dropped packets.”
Step 8: Enable logging for successful connections by selecting “Yes” for “Log successful connections.”
Step 9: Click “OK” to save your settings.
