How to assign the SSL Certificate to appropriate site in Windows IIS Server

Step 1: In Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager, navigate to the left pane, expand the server name where the certificate is installed.

Step 2: Then, expand the “Sites” section and select the website you want to secure with the SSL certificate.

Step 3: On the website’s Home page, go to the Actions menu in the right pane, under “Edit Site,” and click on the “Bindings…” link.

Step 4: Click the “Add” button. In the “Add Site Binding” window, select the below options:

• Type: Select “https” from the drop-down list.

• IP Address: Choose the IP address of the site or select “All Unassigned” from the drop-down list.

• Port: Set the port to “443.”

• Host name: Enter your “Website Name”.

• SSL certificate: Select your new SSL certificate (e.g., yourdomain.com) from the drop-down list.

Step 5: Click OK, and then Close. Remember to restart your computer afterward.
